Ecological action “PURE BEACH

As part of the environmental action “Clean Coast”, on May 4 and 5, employees of the State Environmental Institution “State Nature Reserves of Central Pripyat” and “Olmansky Swamps” together with the Stolin District Inspectorate of the Regional Authority and Environmental Protection conducted an event to clean the coastal zone of the Stakhovo hydroelectric complex port, and also worked on the bank of the river Pripyat in the vicinity of the village of Korob’e. The action was productive, as a result of the action 6 bags of household garbage were collected.

The “Clean Bank” event will not, of course, solve the problem of littering the coastal strip of our river, but at least it will attract public attention and show a good example to the citizens.

But how long the induced purity persists depends on us and our desire to preserve the original beauty of nature.
